 Satellite navigation, data transmission and observation in systems of air traffic organization

AUTOMATIC DEPENDENT SURVEILLANCE - BROADSCAST (ADS-B)

The system is designed for the exchange via a VHP radio channel of precise information about aircraft location on the principle "each with each" (aircraft - aircraft, aircraft-ground, ground-aircraft). Navigation data are formed by the signals from satellite navigation systems GLONASS and GPS. The system allows:

  • to АТС operator - to have complete and precise information about the attitude, speed and intentions of all aircraft in line of sight, as well as to transmit on the board additional information,

  • to the aircraft - to have complete picture of the situation in the airspace.

Airborne set of equipment includes:

  • transceiver (transponder),
  • cockpit display of traffic information (option),
  • antennas.

Ground set of equipment includes:

  • ground station to receive ADS-B messages,
  • local area augmentation system (LAAS) of forming differential corrections (option),
  • controller working position.
